The Scala Rider Q2 is the latest among the Scala line of Bluetooth helmet headsets, with features no other helmet can match
The Scala Rider Q2 is a Bluetooth, helmet-mounted headset which allows bikers to receive GPS voice instructions, communicate with their passenger and other riders via an intercom, conduct calls on their mobile phone and listen to the embedded FM radio or their MP3 player.
New communication possibilities
The Scala Rider Q2 provides the latest in bike to bike communication technology, with bike to bike intercom communications among up to three bikers within a range of 500m. It also offers rider to passenger communication capabilities, as both may speak via the intercom as well as independently conduct mobile phone calls. All intercom conversation is full duplex, no longer will you have to put up with ‘walkie talkie syndrome’, as the Scala Rider Q2 allows you to talk and listen simultaneously.
Music to your earsAs well as allowing connection to your mobile phone and GPS device via Bluetooth, the Scala Rider Q2 can connect to your iPod, iPhone or any MP3 player via line in, which allows you to play all the music you wish, all of which is pumped out via two stereo speakers that sit inside your helmet, providing the ultimate sound experience. Don’t own an MP3? No need to worry, as the Q2 also comes with an FM radio embedded in the headset, with 6 search-and-store stations. New technology will also adjust the volume of your music according to the speed you are travelling at and ambient noise around you.
